Greek Tragedy is the fifteenth episode of the fourth season, and the seventy-seventh overall episode, of the CBS series, Ghost Whisperer, originally premiering on February 13, 2009. The episode was written by Christina M. Kim, and directed by Karen Gaviola, and recieved a total of 11.31 million viewers.
A sorority girl goes missing in the woods during a secret initiation ceremony, and Melinda is confronted with the uneasy spirit of a sad ghost who encountered tragedy during that same ritual 40 years ago. Eli's attempt to relieve Melinda of ghost duty so she can pursue her romance with Jim/Sam goes awry when a hazing stunt turns deadly, and Sam wonders if he can trust her.

It appears as though Eli is referring to the fact that in November 2002 Winona Ryder was found guilty of shoplifting at Saks on 12 December 2001.
