Ghost in the Machine is the third episode of the fourth season, and the sixty-fifth overall episode, of the CBS series, Ghost Whisperer, originally premiering on October 17, 2008. The episode was written by Jeannine Renshaw and directed by Steve Robman, and recieved a total of 8.97 million viewers.
A ghost who's managed to recreate himself in a gaming world threatens Melinda when she tries to determine who he is, and when a young girl is threatened by an online predator in the same game she and Eli find themselves in a race to find her before the unthinkable occurs.
